Nicos Baikas (born 1948) is a greek artist that works and live in Athens. In its large drawings, concept and representation are combined , and the light acting as a revelation for his accurate gesture in filling the surface with pencil. Light and obscurity are in reverse order in his black and white drawing, the latter being represented by the empty parts of his creations. He has had solo exhibitions in Documenta IX, Kassel, the Fondation Cartier in Paris and the Centre d’Art Contemporain in Geneva.
